Getting There

Ropecon is held at the Dipoli Convention Center, in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland. This is about 10 km from the city center, about 25 minutes by bus.

By Bus

From the central bus station, catch a bus going to Otaniemi. This includes busses 102, 103, 194 and 195. If you are unsure of where to get off, ask the driver to tell you when you are close to Dipoli.

The bus fare is 3 euros for adults, 1.50 euros for minors.

The "Conbus"

A bus shuttle operates between the railway station and Dipoli during the Ropecon weekend. The ride is free if you have a Ropecon entry bracelet, which can also be purchased on the bus.

The bus will usually leave Helsinki and Dipoli on the hour, each hour. This is not exact, however, and may vary due to traffic etc. The shuttle operates as follows:

fri 2:30 - 6:30 pm
sat 11 am - 6:30 pm
sun 3 pm - 6 pm
