The roleplaying convention Ropecon will be held from 27th to 29th of July 2012, in conference center Dipoli, Espoo, near Helsinki.

This year the theme of Ropecon is Fantasy and other alternative realities.
We can also proudly announce that Guests of Honor 2012 are former of Wizards of the Coast, Peter Adkison from USA and larp veteran Larson Kasper from Germany.

Ropecon is Finland's biggest roleplaying convention, with more than 3.700 visitors each year. Ropecon offers a variety of programming and activities covering the width and breadth of the hobby gaming field, including tabletop and live action roleplaying games, board games, miniatures and collectible card games. In addition to an abundance of gaming, we are proud to offer a selection of lectures and workshops, dance balls, boffer tournament and bunch of other program that do not require skills in Finnish language.

Mostly the program is held in Finnish, but there will be a number of program items that are either in English or at the very least do not require Finnish. For more detailed information, check out the Program (coming in June).
