All kinds of side programs are offered in addition to games. The Art gallery and the Boffer Tournament are presented on their own pages.
The dress contest is underway during Ropecon. Secret agents rate visitors' dresses, and the best dressers are rewarded with gift certificates. Honorary mentions will be awarded for dresses that reflect the con's theme.
The costume exhibition is open for pre-registration (ohjelma@ropecon.fi). The exhibition will be a part of the gala evening on Saturday. The Gala will feature exotic dresses as well as sword fighting and dances. The golden dragon will be presented for the third time.
After the Gala begins the ball, featuring Renaissance and more contemporary dance music. A costume is not necessary, but neat clothing is preferred. If the steps have been forgotten, they can be rehearsed on Friday and Saturday in dance workshops. Most dances can be easily picked up by beginners.
