What is a Fairy Godparent Ticket?

Ropecon Ticket store has a new ticket called the Fairy Godparent Ticket. But what exactly is this mysterious ticket type? Below you can find the purpose of the ticket and how to apply for one.

Back in 2022 Ropecon received a donation which was directed to support the entry of people with limited funds, so financial reasons would not stop anyone from attending. In 2023 we wanted to continue the tradition and this is who the Fairy Godparent Tickets were established. They are continued in Ropecon 2024.

Who is the Fairy Godparent Ticket for and how can someone apply?

Fairy Godparent Ticket is supposed to offer event access to people with limited funds, who would otherwise not be able to purchase a ticket. We wish to make the attendance threshold as low as possible and providing the option to apply for Fairy Godparent Ticket is a part of this endeavor.

One Fairy Godparent Ticket grants one person access to the Ropecon 2024 event for the whole weekend of July 19th-21st 2024. The Fairy Godparent Ticket does not give access to the Academic Seminar. All donated tickets will be randomly divided amongst applicants on July 7th 2024 and e-tickets will be delivered by email before the event. If there are less applications than donated tickets, every applicant will get a ticket.

You can buy a Fairy Godparent ticket from the webshop. The ticket is a donation ticket and does not include an admission for its buyer. The sale for Fairy Godparent tickets ends on June 30, 2024.
