Join us in creating the 31st round of the largest volunteer organized role playing event in Europe! 

Ropecon is created entirely by volunteers – from players to players. There’s a lot to do and there’s space for new and familiar faces in the team. So mark 19.-21.7.2024 in your calendar and sign up! 

Volunteer application period starts on March 1st and you can fill out your application here! Below you will find all open positions in Ropecon 2024, so you can already think what role would be a good fit for you. It’s also smart to apply soon rather than later, because positions are filled in the order the applications come in!

Volunteer Benefits

Volunteers, much like program organizers, get a weekend ticket for the event as a thank you for their efforts. By working 8+2h in a volunteer position (2x 4h shifts and 2h on-call) you get entrance for the whole weekend. Volunteer weekend ticket cannot be given to anyone else.

We will offer volunteer meal vouchers and a green room with snacks and beverages throughout the event. Volunteers also have the opportunity to order our special volunteer shirt. Monday after the event, we organize an after party for everyone who has worked on the event in any capacity to enjoy food and great company. We also offer a certificate of the work for those who wish to have one. 

Visitors in the event will recognize event volunteers from their lanyard passes. We aim to include first names on the passes, to help prevent any harassment. If you wish to have just a nickname for a specific reason, please contact the volunteer coordinator to explain your case.

Volunteer benefits are defined for a year at a time and are subject to change for following years.
