The role-playing game event Ropecon is organized in Helsinki Expo and Convention Center on 24th – 26th of July 2026 for the 33rd time. This year the theme of Ropecon is Dreams. The event offers a diverse programme selection to roleplayers and people interested in role-playing of all ages.

Ropecon 2026

Europe’s biggest volunteer-powered role-playing convention Ropecon is held for the 33rd time at Helsinki Expo and Convention Center 24th – 26th of July 2026. The three-day event brings together both role-playing game enthusiasts as well as professionals of the field, and offers a diverse set of programmes. The organization behind the convention is Ropecon ry, which aims to promote and
develop the Finnish role-playing, card game, board game, and miniature hobbies.

Media

Each year we welcome media representatives to Ropecon, and we are happy to help organise interviews and other opportunities. Along with Ropecon’s famous costume extravaganza, the event also hosts art and artists, a historical ball, and an impressive amount of incredible miniature scenes.
