What is Konsti?
Ropecon uses the Konsti app for handling sign-ups to tabletop RPGs, LARPs, workshops and some Experience point games and tournaments. You can use Konsti either with your own device or computers at the Larp & RPG Desk or Gaming Desk. To use Konsti, you will need to create a Konsti account or sign in with your Kompassi account, if you have one.
You can register a new Konsti account during Ropecon using a code that you can get from the Larp & RPG Desk, the Gaming Desk or the Info. Hold on to the code, since you will need it if you want to change your password. Please also note that Konsti accounts from previous events have been removed and are not available anymore.
A Kompassi account can be created at any time, even before Ropecon, at https://kompassi.eu.
If you create a Konsti account, it won’t be used outside of this year’s Ropecon and it will be removed after the event. Kompassi accounts, on the other hand, will only be removed if you specifically ask for them to be removed.
How does signing up work?
Sign-up for program items is tiered and you can find the schedule for signing up on Konsti. Before Konsti opens, please find the general schedule on Konsti’s guidelines page.
Some programme items, such as, all roleplaying games the sign-up is raffled. You may select three program items that begin in the same time slot and after sign-up for that time slot closes, Konsti’s algorithm attempts to place participants into program items so that as many as possible receive a place. If after the raffle program items have free places, or if someone cancels their sign-up, the free places will be filled in signing up order.
In some program items, places are filled in singn-up order. Please find the schedule for sign-ups in Konsti.
If you are unable to participate in a program item, please remember to cancel your sign-up! This way other participants can join the program item.
